Welcome to 2021
At the start of any year, we set goals and New Year’s resolutions. We reflect on the lessons of the previous year and plan to not make the same mistakes twice. We practice hope.
It’s a story that we all know. Here’s our version.
We’re like you
Like the organizations we’re helping, we’re a small team. We know the difficulty of building something with few resources. We know the challenges of wearing a lot of hats with competing priorities. It’s a familiar feeling of a growing to-do list and being buried in sticky notes. We know that it can be hard to remember how far we’ve come and all that we’ve achieved. We know how hard it is to get organized and stay organized.
It’s what led us to start building Cascadin, a software tool designed to help teams of 5, not 500. Our mission is simplicity. We’re creating software that meets the needs of small teams. Our goal is to lower the barriers to productivity and efficiency that is often out of reach. Just because you’re a small business, a nonprofit, or even a collection of volunteers, doesn’t mean you don’t deserve to have tools that help you reach your goals too.
Because we’re a small team with limited resources, it’s taken us time to build our tool and to get it to a place that we feel is valuable to the people and organizations it’s designed for. We’ve been at this, in one form or another, for more than three years.
Our goal for 2021
This year, our goal is to help as many organizations as we can, especially in Montana, make reaching their goals just a little easier.
We’re going to learn a lot. There will be people who give Cascadin a try once and never log in again. People who use it for the 30-day free trial, and never come back. There will be people who use it for a while and then stop after a few months. There will be people who find it helps but who want it to do a little more. Our goal is that we’ll learn something from each of them to help improve Cascadin so that it can meet the needs of the next small team to try it.
As we learn, we’re going to share more of our story, and your stories. We want to elevate the nonprofits doing good work in Montana. To let you know about the amazing local businesses navigating this trying time. We want to celebrate hard work and relish in everyone’s accomplishments.
Our goal this year, and every year, is to be a team who listens, learns, and supports our community.
We hope you’ll follow along (and maybe help us learn when you give Cascadin a try).
Welcome to 2021!
